In Anna's kitchen you will be invited to cook Ligurian style the old way, using mortar and pestle to make pesto sauce. Even more you will be taught how to make fresh pasta like Lasagne or Pansotti and dress them with typical sauces from the local tradition. Vegetables pies, seafood and a colorful variety of focaccias Ligurian style will be the extra choices for making up your favourite workshop menus. Anna is fluent either in English and French and will lead you into the genuine Ligurian culture and traditions through her recipes. Local wine and a final meal all together will be offered in the cozy garden overlooking the gulf.
After many years running my B&B around Portofino area, and cooking for my guests from all over the world, I love sharing my passion for cooking traditional Ligurian style with travellers. It has always been my favourite way to make them feel at home. Now that the B&B has closed down I 'm glad to receive them in my private kitchen, in my new house on the hills. I've been mastering the Ligurian cooking since the time of the B&B, researcing the original recipes from the past, among tips and stories old local ladies are willing to tell me. Sometimes I cook with them learning their techniques, some other times I experiment recipes by myself in my kitchen before proposing them to my guests. In my area I'm also requested as private cook by residents and tourists who need meals prepared by expert hands for their special events.

Gulf of Tigullio is a coast line starting from Portofino Mountain and ending in Sestri Levante town. Anna's kitchen and private house is located on the hill above the village of Lavagna dominating the entire gulf. Visiting Anna is then a great opportunity to visit this corner of liguria with its coast and characteristic, well popular villages such as Portofino, Santa Margherita, Rapallo, Chiavari and Lavagna.
