Escape civilization for a couple of peaceful days and return with a handy set of bush skills—and loads of great photos. Learn how to pitch a tent by the Macquarie River, catch some local cod, and spot emus and wild goats on this retreat into the bush. You’ll see how authentic damper baking is done—a bread-making art that is sure to impress your city slicker friends back home. Or, you can sit back in the shade with a cool drink and a book until it's too dark to read, then tell stories around a campfire.
