First part of the tour: I pick you up at your place 8am We head to the Guachimontones archeological site, about an hour drive We spend a couple hours discovering what used to be the shelter and rejoice of a unique civilization more than 2000 years ago. The idea is to be the first ones at the pyramids, to avoid the crowds & the heat, to take good pictures & enjoy nature. Then we lunch, either in Teuchitlán town or in Tequila town, a 45 min drive. Second part of the tour: At Tequila town, first we will visit La Cofradia, the prettiest tequila distillery at the hills of the Tequila Volcano. La Cofradia holds a hotel boutique with barrel-shape rooms beetween the blue agave fields. We will walk around the factory to get involved in the tequila production. We will taste different tequilas and drink a margarita at their majestic cava (cellar), a human-made cave sorrounded by a lake. Afterwards we will go to Tequila town: to walk around the plazas, kiosko, market, stores and take amazing pictures! The idea is to head back to Guadalajara around 4:30pm. You will be dropped off at your place 5:30pm. * Ask for extra spots, bigger groups and special dates!!
