South of the Mexico city we find Xochimilco, Prehispanic natives built on the lake the chinampas small islands used for agriculture forming a network of channels, in which we will sail through time enjoying the nature and the gazing of its birds. We will embark on a cayuco(small vessel) , a little bit before sunrise we´ll silently do the bird gazing in the channels, realizing that this is a living ecosystem which is home for several native birds and migrating ones, going through the channels the same way the natives did it. We´ll arrive to the chinampa in time for breakfast. We will learn from the ancient and new techniques used on the chinampa to promote a sustainable an organic agriculture.
