Bring along an item of clothing that doesn't fit well, is never worn or is broken in someway. We all have such items that were once loved or that were brought but never worn, this is the sustainable answer to such an issue. In this session you will pair up and fit your partners garment, with my advice and guidance along the way, then swap over and vise-versa. Garments can also be turned into something new and in your pair you will discuss the best product to make, again with my advice and guidance. Once everyone is fitted, consulted and happy with the outcome sewing can commence. You will unpick where necessary, pin, cut and sewing whilst getting to know your fellow participants over a tea. At the end of this session you will have an item that you can get far more use out of whether that is a fitting garment, turn an old garment into a bag/ dress into a top or skirt/ pillow/ patchwork blanket, or fix a hole.
