I will pick you up at BUS STOP NUMBER 8, next to the big Church Hallgrímskirkja, downtown Reykjavík. We drive to Reykjadalur (Steam Valley). There we hike and bath in a warm river, in total about 3 hours. The hike is an experience that you won’t forget. Reykjadalur (Steam Valley) is a geothermal area as the name implies and a popular hiking route only about 30 minutes drive from Reykjavik. Not only will you get a lovely hiking day but you can dip into the warm river that run in the valley. Remember swimsuit, good shoes and your camera! Not very difficult hike.

I am born and raised in Iceland. Living next door to nature it became clear very early that I would become a geologist. There is no better place than peaceful nature. Birdsong in the summer is a plus. I love nature, hiking the wild and Iceland is a paradise for both. I want to take you on a journey to Reykjadalur Valley, where geothermal hot water mixes with the river running through the valley, making it perfect for bathing. Adventure and destress with me in tranquility, in nature, next door to Reykjavík. A mindful hike and geothermal bath close to the capital. My cohost is Stone, who is a landscape photographer and an adventurer. He has biked most trails that exist in Iceland and probably knows Iceland better than most people. We look forward to meet you!!
