Guests will receive cooking and meal prep instructions on the art of Napolitan pizza-making and then jump right in, in true pizzaoilo (pizza maker) style, to make a pizza in a wood fired oven! The aromas in the air will captivate you and land you in Naples, Italy (no passport required!). Guests will enjoy socializing alfresco in this 3hr course. As a bonus, Chef Michele will teach you a few, key Italian phrases when it comes to ordering pizza in Naples, and may even serenade guests with a typical Napolitan pizza song (with a translation of course)!
Chef Michele, a Naples native, trained in culinary school in several regions of Italy, embracing the country's different styles of cuisine. His culinary experience started in the early 1990s at the age of 14 during his vocational training at Ipsar Cavalcanti in Pozzuoli, Naples, in southern Italy from 1992 to 1994. He traveled throughout Europe, working in restaurants in London, Brussels, and Paris. He eventually returned back to southern Italy to continue his culinary training to be a certified culinary teacher. He loves pizza so much he built an entire wood fired outdoor oven on his own!

We will gather on the outdoor patio around the wood fire oven. Guests will enjoy the fresh outdoor air reminiscent of southern Italy. In the event of inclement or extreme weather, the activity will occur indoors.
