Fly to a remote historic lodge, get decked out in arctic gear, and learn the basics of dogsledding. Wake up and hitch your happy team of Alaskan huskies to the sled. After mushing, try ice fishing, snowshoeing, or snowmobiling. The evening is for sauna, stories, and aurora viewing. Leave the luxury of the roadhouse the next day to explore 20-30 miles of trails, and camp in heated tents under the aurora borealis. On our last day, make your way to the trailhead in Nenana, spotting wildlife along the way.
We have been sharing dogsled adventure with small and large groups since 1998. Experience counts when you are considering a winter backcountry adventure in the Interior of Alaska. We travel often in the Interior and have chosen historic and scenic trails that provide a safe and entertaining excursion. We'll be taking you to places that we as Alaskans enjoy most. It is a truly Alaskan adventure. It is not a 'canned experience' along a well-beaten path. If you're looking for a 5* hotel experience, this is not the tour for you. There's a sense of rugged, some grit and lots of dog love.
