Trek through southwestern Kenya with a trained Maasai warrior and certified African travel guide. Starting in Oseki Maasai Mara Camp, about four hours southwest of Nairobi, we'll visit a traditional Maasai village, learning about their traditional songs and dances. Next, it's on to the bush for a guided nature walk in the Mara to spot wild animals, plants, and flowers. We'll close out the trip with a beadworking lesson from the Maasai locals, and return with your own handcrafted souvenirs from the trip.
Supa! My name is Dennis Shinka Parmuat, I have been a guide in the Mara for over 7 years and a true Maasai of nature, born and raised in the Mara. I was trained as a Maasai warrior since the age of 10, spending many years out in the bush. Animal tracking is my speciality and showing visitors our village, the park and way of life in the Maasai Mara in my passion. Together with Anne Blom, my co-host and partner we are happy to host our guests that are coming to have a experience of a lifetime in our precious homeland. Anne is a FGASA level 1 guide, passionate about photography, African culture and wildlife. Note that, as you come to visit us, we can easily combine the days you spent with us with other interesting activities such as a walk on Leruk hill, a game drive in the Maasai Mara or other fun stuff!
