Before our program,everybody walks to the Sopot waterfall which is 2 minutes from the tavern. Best time for visit the waterfall is spring and autumn. Program starts with introduction of Floricic Family and sightseeing of our property and Tavern which is more than 400 years old. Telling the story of our way of life, our culture and gastronomy. Introduction of meals which we will prepare and taste. Involving you in the process of cooking and serving meals. We will prepare only very traditional meals like istrian raviolli and another types of homemade pasta, traditional sauce, manestra, sweets like fritule. Every meal is tasted and combined with wines or juices (for children). Tasting homemade drinks, serving everything on oak tree tables. Enjoying in family atmosphere, stories telling and telling a word or two about Istrian & Croatian music. Our Family members are ethno musicians and they will play some traditional music. If you want to try too, you are welcome. We can't wait to welcome you in our village Floricici surounded with vineyards and hills with medieval cities
Our Family is 20 years in tradition of welcoming guests from all around the world. I am the host but guests might meet another family members in order to know more about family, our heritage, culture and gastronomy. We are very proud of our gastronomy, so you will be able to see how we prepare home made pasta, bread, cake, maneštra or vegetables and flavors from the garden. You can be active involved in food preparing and when everything is ready, we taste and enjoy meals in domestic atmosphere of ancient tavern.
