Stroll through the past and present of this fascinating city viewed through St. Louis Cemetery #1 (established 1789). This burial ground reveals New Orleans history more vividly than any other historic site. Aboveground burial and picturesque decay combine with awesome architectural features for an unforgettable experience. Stops include Congo Square, Our Lady of Guadalupe Church and the site of Storyville, the city's former red light district.
This tour runs rain or shine! We will be walking on flat terrain for under a mile, so please make sure you are dressed comfortably and are hydrated for the tour. Please bring an umbrella if needed.
