In this practical cheese making and tasting workshop you will learn about different cheese making techniques and ingredients used to produce them. You will have the chance to make your own samples of several cheeses including mozzarella, ricotta, halloumi, goat's cheese, queso blanco, labeneh and paneer to take home with you. We also run vegan, dairy free plant based cheese making and tasting workshops or we can run a workshop with a mixture of dairy and vegan cheeses if you wish. In the second part of the workshop we will sit down for a cheese tasting session with a range of homemade soft and hard cheeses with a selection of homemade sourdough breads and homemade pickles, jams and chutneys. You will be able to sample different combinations and see what you love the best! Cheese lovers heaven! You will be given your samples of fresh cheese to finish making at home as well as some samples of chutneys, jams and cheeses along with your detailed notes to make cheese and the recipes for the chutneys, jams and homemade breads. A truly unforgettable delicious, cheesy experience!
I'm a qualified holistic nutritionist and trained nutritional chef and I'm really passionate about making and eating really tasty and nutritious food for all my family and friends to try. I love making my own cheese. I've been teaching people how to cook and eat healthily for over 30 years and love to make new things and experiment with flavours and textures. I run a whole range of workshops from cheese making, fermented foods and drinks, making protein bliss balls or chocolate truffles, making Christmas gifts and treats and learning to cook healthy vegetarian and plant based recipes.

All cheese making equipment provided for session. You will be given detailed notes and recipes to take home with you.
We run all our workshops in our kitchen and dining area where we have a large dining table for you to work at and plenty of worktop space to store your samples for later and taste all the delicious cheeses, homemade chutneys, jams and breads. The chairs are really comfy and you will get a good view of the screen where we will show instructions for you to follow. Please wear comfy clothes and shoes.
