Have you ever dreamt of seeing beautiful countryside astride the ancient horse of the Spanish Conquistadors? This adventure with the uniquely smooth Paso Fino horse is an amazing opportunity, we're the only place like this in all of Canada, and a guaranteed highlight! When you arrive at Fina Vista Farm you will have a chance to walk around, stretch your legs, use the facilities and meet the resident animals, horses, dogs, cats, chickens and Pepper the pig. After that it's time to select the horses, groom and saddle up for a tour of the beautiful rolling Oak Hills on horseback. A mini intro lesson will be provided on riding basics, along with some history of the breed and description of their gait and 'how-to' on getting the best gaiting experience from your horse. The ride will cover various terrain with meadows, hills, wooded areas and tranquil trails in mixed forest. Contact host to customise dates or times to suit your needs. Sorry, we can only accommodate riders up to 220 pounds at this time and at least 10 years old. Great adventure for riders and nature lovers!

I'm Camilla, the owner of Fina Vista Farm, home to a beautiful herd of smooth-gaited Paso Fino horses, as well as some dogs, cats, chickens and a pig. After many years of successfully competing in North America in Gaited shows and Extreme Cowboy Racing, I've found my bliss riding in this area and introducing people to this wonderful breed of horse. We also have overnight accomodations available at the farm thru Air BnB. For those that want alternative adventures we now offer E-bike tours as well.

We will be roaming on the hundreds of acres to be found on and around Fina Vista Farm, in the rolling scenic area known as the Oak Hills. Rides include (depending on season and rider level) a trip to the waterhole, a ride through the jumping fields, quiet winding forested trails, or challenge yourself on the 20 tasks in the Horseback Obstacle Course on some of the steepest hills of the woods.
I am so glad I booked a ride! I've got some riding experience and find that most "trail ride" experiences out there are lackluster. At Camilla's farm, I was taken on a beautiful 2 hour ride through hills, forests, and fields, with a small (4 person) group. We even got to spend some time cantering through the forest, which was really magical. Camilla has high quality horses that are very well cared for, and it was cool to learn about the Paso Fino breed. She was very friendly and welcoming, and I will definitely be back.

Such an amazing time riding horses at Fina Vista farm. Camilla is a great host and makes the entire experience relaxed, fun and informative.
My horse Pinta was incredibly gentle and responsive, followed cues immediately when given which resulted in a very comfortable and enjoyable ride. The trail was very fun with hills, red pine forests and open fields. I really felt like I got the most out of the 85$ and more.
Also notable mention to Casper the friendly barn cat, 10/10 would pet again.

This was my first time booking an Airbnb experience and it did not disappoint! Camilla was a great guide, answering all of our questions and making sure we felt comfortable at all times. The horses were beautiful and well-behaved, the property was vast and well maintained, and the overall experience was one that we soon won't forget. We can't wait to book again!
