Experience the epic world of open water swimming! The most unique water views in Miami are the ones you’ll see as you swim along our coast. With the backdrop of Miami’s Art Deco architecture in the distance and the shimmering sea all around you, every moment is a treat for the senses. You’ll also receive incredible photo and video memories from the water to share with friends. Connecting to the water is also known to build positive neural pathways in the brain and reduce stress. For this reason, open water swimming is a wonderful way to practice "blue mindfulfulness" - to quiet the mind and discover a meditative experience. Whether you are a capable pool swimmer new to open water swimming or a triathlete looking to experience epic ocean swims on your vacation to Miami Beach, I will create a guided experience that is just right for you. Distance of swim will always depend on guest ability, but typically ranges from 800m - 2.5k If there’s a time you’d like to meet that you don’t see available here, send me a DM.
I represented Team USA in the 2018 Aquathlon World Championships and am a Red Cross certified lifeguard. I regularly compete in open water swimming competitions and practice with US Masters swim teams. I consider open water swimming a form of moving meditation and it’s a passion that I want to share with more people. In addition, I'm also a yoga and fitness instructor in Miami. Prior to entering the fitness/wellness industry, I worked in corporate communications, served as a Captain in the US Army and earned my BA from Georgetown University. Find me on IG @moflolove
I will provide bottled water
We’ll enjoy spectacular views of Miami from one of South Florida’s most pristine beaches. We may even see a dolphin or other marine life. If there’s another beach in Miami, you’d like to swim at let me know and we can arrange an alternate meeting spot.
You can use a kiosk or the Park Mobile app to park on the street. If you’d like to see additional photos and videos of past swims, visit IG @moflolove and check out my “MoSwimLove” stories
