We’ll embark on our kayaking adventure from Paihia, a town on New Zealand’s North Island, and then paddle around The Bay of Islands. The gorgeous bay boasts more than 140 subtropical islands, known for their stunning white beaches and spectacular wildlife. When we aren’t kayaking, we’ll do a bit of snorkeling as well as hiking, and hopefully spot some endangered bird species like the saddleback and kakarik. We’ll have lunch on the beaches and camp on the islands. Bring your sleeping bag, mat, and tent or feel free to rent one from us.
Magnus and Anais are a young and dynamic couple running a small tour operator in the beautiful Bay of Islands in New Zealand where we specialize in guiding adventurous sea kayaking tours. Magnus is our lead guide, he grew up in the Bay of Islands as a child when he wasn't sailing the world with his family yacht. He studied in Christchurch Outdoor Education as a result and has had a keen interest in white water and sea kayaking since then. He has guiding kayaking trips in NZ, Fiji and Antarctica for the last 10 years as well as skippering an expedition vessel. Anais is originally from France. She is the organization master and makes sure the tours are well planned. She is also a sea kayaking instructor and a great cook. Together we have been making a great team for more than five years!
