This tour is focused on the past and present beauty of Turin in terms of food, architecture, lifestyle for those who want to understand the charme of this (still) underrated in 2 hours. The tour and its schedule are highly customizable, if possible. I can plan the itinerary according to your needs: - FOOD (we can go to the best Turin's street food places, where you can buy our specialities, if you want) - ARCHITECTURE (we can visit the Baroque and Fascist district or the Medieval and Roman district with a special eye on details) - LIFESTYLE (we can visit the market and its hidden gems, the most beloved church and where Turin's people live). I recommend this tour those want to understand the city with a local who knows many fascinating stories and unique places that you could not otherwise find. Do not just expect to walk and listen: get ready to ask questions and discuss about Turin. Ask me whatever you like about Italian culture/lifestyle/language/food/history/arts. My style is ironical, informal, friendly and with an interactive point of view: forget about the guides with the umbrella, their list of dates and big groups! Consider me like your LOCAL FRIEND, not a guide! IMPORTANT ✓✓✓ Please write to me BEFORE booking, maybe another day/hour would fit you better (since the tour can be in 4 languages). Let me know if 12-2pm fits you. Whatsapp: +393394604885 or here
I want to provide what I look for when I travel: good places to visit, good company and good food! Consider me your LOCAL FRIEND, not a guide! I was born and raised in Turin and I'm graduated in Art and Cinema History at the University of Turin. I'm a teacher of Italian for foreigners and speak also English, French, Spanish and some Portuguese. In 2010 I started to work for some relocation companies that support the expats in their "new life" in Turin and for several companies which provide them private language tutoring. Being a teacher of Italian, it can also be a chance for you to practice your Italian and ask me whatever you want. I'll be at your complete disposal for any questions you may have about Turin (or Italy): what to visit, where to eat, transport, culture, language... to make your experience as useful as possible.
- LIST of Turin's attractions/restaurants/gelato shops/activities with price, opening hours, tips
We will walk within the city center for 2 hours, with some stops at the main squares and streets (and hidden gems) partially under the arcades (which is good when it rains!).
The tour might be bilingual, so I might ask you to change the booked date if better for you and your language understanding. The tour will take place in any weather conditions (even rain and very hot/cold weather). If you don't find availability, write me and I'll see what I can do!
