Update on Coronavirus: yes, I am accepting bookings and yes you are safe!Tastings are held in my apartment, in small groups, and I take every precaution possible to ensure a clean and safe environment. The best part about this experience? It's casual, laid back, down to earth and not stuffy. We'll hang out in a chic and intimate space, dead centre in downtown Toronto, tasting outstanding wines, while you nibble on scratch made food: locally sourced honey from Honey Harbour, Muskoka, freshly baked pumpkin seed crackers, pork pâté, roasted garlic. I love to cook and pair it with great wine, especially with new people - a big part of this experience is getting to know each other, so I strongly encourage you to relax, enjoy and treat it as though you're kicking back with friends. I'll introduce you to a flight of wines - all poured blind. Blind tasting is a great way to remove all bias - while you might think you love cabernet sauvignon from Napa - maybe you like pinot noir from Ontario even more! I won't show you the label, or tell you where it's from. All you'll see is what's in your glass - it's just your palate deciding whether you enjoy the wine or not, not your ego, or what your wine expert friend, "Brian", told you "is the best". You’ll be trying some really fun stuff, and I'll share all the stories that go with them!
Update on Coronavirus: yes, I am accepting bookings and yes you are safe! Tastings are held in my apartment, in small groups, and I take every precaution possible to ensure a clean and safe environment. I am a wine professional based in Toronto. I work as a freelance consultant, splitting my time writing about wine, hosting private tastings, operating my wine club "Crushable", and managing my bi-annual wine conference "Sensory Symposium". So, suffice it to say - I like wine! I really enjoy sharing the wines I have the opportunity to taste with people - especially visitors or tourists new to Canada who haven't had the chance to try the amazing caliber of wines we are producing here. Canada is exploding in terms of quality and producers - it's an exciting time to be here.

You'll be tasting in a private building, not accessible to the general public. We'll be in a chic and cozy room, with great views of the city. Weather permitting, we can even do the tasting outside. It's a great space to capture lots of photos - so come prepared to capture some Instagrammable poses.
Come ready to have fun - and be prepared for plenty of suggestions for activities, restaurants, bars and attractions to check out after the tasting is over. There is a lot to see and I'll equip you with a full list!
