Ciao!!! We will introduce each other and drink a glass of wine so as to brake the ice. In the meantime you will be given a white apron and be assigned to a working station. Let's start!!! First of all you will make the original Bolognese sauce following Italian grandmothers' recipe. You will peel and chop the vegetables, season the mince meat, prepare the tomato sauce and cook all together under the Chef instructions. While the sauce is simmering in the the frying-pan you will start "getting dirty" and make the dough with flours and eggs. Once the dough is ready we will stretch and cut it so as to create our Tagliatelle. After that we will place the pasta on a wooden board and put the water to boil to cook our pasta. Once we have cooked the pasta and mixed it with the sauce we will sit together and enjoy our home-made Italian pasta. Along the experience you will be offered unlimited wine and drinks so that you won't be thirsty. At the end of the course you will receive a file containing all the instructions to prepare Tagliatelle Bolognese back home.
I am Francesco the founder of Pinsa, a company that specializes in baked products like pizza, panzerotti, focaccie and more. Before being in this business I was working as a financial analyst in London where I graduated. During my studies I was also producing fresh-pasta in my house and selling it to restaurants in the London area so as to pay my tuition fees and living costs. My pasta was really appreciated as I was using the traditional method my mother taught me when I was still a kid. In my family in Italy every Sunday morning my brothers, mum and I were making tagliatelle, ravioli.......
