Using the Harry Potter Books and the film Fantastic Beasts: Crimes of Grindelwald, I have taken some of the locations and put together a unique cultural tour of Paris. We will discover where an age old alchemist and the creator of the Philosophers (Sorcerer's) Stone once lived. Along the route we will instal a game for our young wizards and witches to see who can capture (with our mobile phones/cameras) the most Fantastic Beasts. These beasts are actually street art mosaics. The tour and game continues through the Marais past Hotel de ville and notre dame and then into the old Latin Quater where we find portals to another world. Who doesn’t like a good story about the mystical world of Alchemists? Certainly JK Rowling does, as did Victor Hugo, both of which make mention of the famous Alchemist in their books. But who was he?? And did he crack the secret that so many alchemists have been searching for... the key to eternal life and wealth?
I'm an English Actor and I have been living and working in Paris for over 8 years now. I know what its like to have a child on holiday and finding fun things to do and discover as I have little daughter myself. Both me and my co-host are passionate about—and fascinated by the city's history and its great stories of love, revolution, crime and of course... film locations. Having once been on stage with the real Lord Voldermort (although he was playing Mark Antony in JC at the time) I love the Wizard World. My friends and family use me as a human search engine for all things Parisian.
Starting out at the metro Étienne Marcel we head into the secret passages of old Paris and on to the house of Paris' oldest resident at 51 Rue de Montmorency then into the Latin Quater and then checking out (in the muggle world) a partially destroyed Roman Amphitheatre which in the wizarding world doubles up as a Quidditch Pitch. Before seeing some real Fantastic beasts in the Jardin de Plantes.

1 metro card each as we will take the metro just once throughout the tour.
Please bring an umbrella if the forecast indicates rain and wear a comfy pair of shoes, as we'll be on foot most of the time (with lots of breaks to chat and rest). Please try to download this app... https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ltu.flashInvader&hl=en_US if not no worries.
