This tour is an extensive visit to more than 50 buildings in the two richest Art Nouveau districts, not far from the city center. The tour is designed for those who want to see the best Turin's Art Nouveau hidden gems (externally), since Turin is the Italian capital of Art Nouveau, in a dialogue where we will express our opinion, make comparisons and learn together. As I studied Art Nouveau also in Buenos Aires, I will also provide an international point of view about our local style. It will be an informal experience with your LOCAL FRIEND, but at the same time you'll learn a lot about Turin and its architecture peculiarities. Being a teacher of Italian for foreigners, you can practice your Italian and ask me whatever you like about Italian culture/lifestyle. I'll be happy to satisfy your curiosity! Since I'll also share with you my best tips to enjoy your stay, I recommend you to join me on the very first day, so you'll be able to avoid all tourist traps! > The visit can start between 9 and 10:30am, depending on the day (even in the afternoon): the schedule you see online is purely indicative. ✓✓✓ Please write to me BEFORE booking since, depending on your time availability and language, maybe another day/hour would fit you better (the tour can be in 4 languages). Consider me your LOCAL FRIEND, not a guide! I was born and raised in Turin and I am graduated in Art and Cinema History at the University of Turin. I am a teacher of Italian for foreigners and speak also English, French, Spanish and some Portuguese. In 2010 I started to work for some relocation companies that support the expats in their "new life" in Turin and for several companies which provide them private language tutoring. I got the international certification "From Art Nouveau to Art Deco architecture" issued by AANBA, Buenos Aires (AR). Being a teacher of Italian, it can also be a chance for you to practice your Italian. I'll be also at your complete disposal for any questions you may have about Turin (or Italy): what to visit, where to eat, transport, culture, language, etc. to make your experience as useful as possible.
