Cooking class home made Pasta. You will sit in front of the kitchen and make the pasta. Everyone will have the right ingredients (eggs and dough) for the whole process and at the end, your fettuccine/tonnarelli will be cooked and you will enjoy eating your first Italian gastronomic goodness. We'll explain to you and cook carbonara or amatriciana in front of you. Edo, Giulia, Silvia or Maria explain all the preparation steps and you will eat it. A glass of wine or beer included! Extra wine o dessert can be ordered à la carte. You can also partecipate at a Cooking class home made traditional PIZZA in baking tin. YOU WANT TO LEARN HOW TO MAKE PIZZA WITH YOUR HANDS AND EAT IT? Come in!! You will sit in front of the kitchen and make the pasta of the PIZZA. Everyone will have the right ingredients for the whole process and at the end, you'll eat your pizza (with mozzarella, tomato, anchovies, etc...). The pizza has to rise al least for three hours, so you can visit Rome or Trastevere and then come back and eat it!!
I'm Edoardo, owner and chef of the "Il Maritozzo Rosso" Bistrot with other two chef women Silvia and Maria. In 2016 I won the "This Is Food" competition, an award for the most innovative idea of the year. Which one? Filling the Roman Maritozzo with salty ingredients. Revisitations of Roman cuisine. Dishes ending up in the maritozzo (a sweet kind of bread) or served in the traditional form. I like home-made cooking: bread, fettuccine, pizza... We would like letting you live this experience, so you will make pasta by your hands and then, eat it with Carbonara or amatriciana recipe.
