Do you want to know how to cook a real fresh Italian pasta with all the tricks that made Italy the country of Pasta? I’m going to teach you all the knowledge that my family (especially my grandmother) taught me since I was very little. We are going to start off with touching and knowing the right ingredients (imported from Italy), and then get ready to get your hands really dirty and sticky! We are going to prepare three kinds of pastas: tortelli filled with ricotta and spinach, tagliatelle, and strozzapreti (vegan dough). While mixing with your hands, we cheers with unlimited wine to good food and good company! Salute! The experience will be entirely in ENGLISH! This class can’t be suitable for Gluten Free. I moved in NY from Tuscany about 2 years ago and I want to keep my traditions in my memory teaching other people not just a skill but all the emotions and history behind it, while drinking wine. I come from a little medieval town called Brisighella and I graduated from college 2 years ago in the ancient University of Bologna (most ancient uni of the world!), I live in Brooklyn, Bensonhurst, with my husband Joseph and my son Alessandro. All my experiences are from my grandmother while she was making fresh pasta with the 2 feet long rolling pin, and an Italian degree in sweet and savory pastry.
