My dedicated studio workshop is located in the beautiful Barley Wood Walled Garden, Wrington. With a beautiful view over the Wrington Vale to the Mendip Hills, you will be able to enjoy a unique floristry experience in the Somerset countryside. Over the course of two hours, I will lead you through the design of a beautiful seasonal flower arrangement. The precise arrangement will depend on the time of year and what is available, but you will learn how to select and condition flowers and foliage; how to assemble and secure the arrangement using the various sundries that we will have available. Most importantly, you will learn some of the key design principles that you have to remember when arranging in any medium. The precise arrangement can be discussed beforehand; if you have something in mind please just let me know. Arrangements such as flower crowns, hand-tied bouquets, "aquas", table centrepieces, trug arrangements and wreaths can all be created - you'll be surprised at what you can achieve and you'll develop the confidence to take floristry further.
