I'll show you down to the dock where you’ll be provided with your kayaks, paddles and PFD's (life vests). We'll review safety instructions and lake attractions and a brief history of Slack’s. You'll then set off on your own to explore and appreciate the natural beauty of the Reservoir. Be sure to take photos and post them to our Experience page. As a professional photographer myself I'll take some cool photos of you (if you want) while you kayak for you to share with friends. If you would like to stay local to this experience let us recommend our Airbnb listing: https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/26990862?s=67&shared_item_type=1&virality_entry_point=1&sharer_id=147264370
As a lifelong resident on Slack's Reservoir I have a deep connection to this private body of water. I've been Kayaking this lake since I was old enough to hold a paddle. Slack’s is a private reservoir and is one of our best kept secrets as there are no public boat launches. This experience gives you exclusive access to the rich beauty and natural surroundings of the lake. I've explored all of the coves and corners over my many years on the pond. I'm happy to share it's natural beauty and wildlife with you as you explore with your kayak and discover the open water as well as the quiet coves.

Explore the pond - from open water to secluded coves. Visit the small island on the far side. Pull up and check out Greenlake Beach. Glide into the shallow coves and discover the natural beauty of the lake - lotus flowers, lily pads, turtles, frogs. In the open coves you'll find geese, ducks, larger bass and pickerel. If you're lucky you'll come across the pair of mated swans or one of the Great Blue Herons that love to fish in the quiet coves.
