We'll meet on the Ohio side of the river at the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center, where you'll hear a brief history of Cincinnati. Next we'll hop on an old fashioned trolley and take it across the river to Covington, one of Northern Kentucky's hippest neighborhoods. There we'll walk through the Licking Riverside Historic District, admiring majestic mansions in a variety of architectural styles dating back to pre-civil war. Don't forget your camera, this area has some of the most spectacular views of Cincinnati's skyline. From there we take the trolley to Mainstrasse a quaint historic German village filled with shops, restaurants & bars, making this a favorite place for locals to hang out. Time to refuel with some pizza and an adult beverage while learning a little about Covington's fall and rebirth. Afterwards we will stroll down the main promenade to Goebel Park where you'll see an authentic 100ft German gothic clock tower while enjoying everybody's favorite ice cream!
