We will meet under the Torre dell'Orologio (Clock Tower) and from there we will be walking around the historical side of Padova just like locals usually do after work at "aperitivo" time :) We will stop in 3 hidden spots frequented just by locals, away from the tourist side where you will be able to taste the very best of the local Paduan cuisine. Get ready to enjoy a very special tour that will take you to places very hard to find and will give you a “local” touch to your experience in Padua. Along our walk I will be more than happy to answer any questions about my beautiful town and I will also provide some special tips that will help you to make the most of your staying in Padua. The walk will start and end in Piazza dei signori under the torre dell’orologio (clock tower). Come and find out why people say of Padova “chi che ga visto Padova no poe scordarla più” (those who saw Padua will never forget it)!
I am a very sociable and friendly guy who has been working and traveling around the world for the past 6 years in USA, UK, Spain, Australia, India, Nepal, and many other places. I love sharing the experiences and adventures I had in my past and I also love listening to the ones of the others. Now that I finally got back to my hometown I just want to show how beautiful this city is! and…What is better than a glass of Spritz accompanied by a cicchetto to do so?
2 cicchetti Padovani (similar to tapas)
1 Spritz (most typical local drink) or 1 glass of local wine (red or white)
We will be exploring a hidden side of Padova that tourists usually miss called ghetto and the 3 stunning squares that characterise the beautiful Padua.
