活動內容

The class includes meditation, gentle movement, and mantras; the focus is how to approach food not just as fuel for our body, but as the substance for our mind, our emotions, and our soul. We will discuss not just What to eat, but When, Where, and How, because your long-term health depends on it!. One of the most important steps we can take in our self-care journey is changing how we approach food. Changing our relationship to how we prepare and eat our daily nourishment can make a huge difference in our long-term health. Many of my clients are intimidated or confused about the what, when, where, and how of food. I can help you figure it all out! From what to stock in your kitchen to the basics of Ayurvedic cooking and nutrition, you can change your relationship to food. Together we will prepare the classic Ayurvedic detox dish "kitchari", which is the foundation for understanding Ayurveda's approach to Digestion (Agni) and the important guidelines for mindful eating. The class is hands-on, so each guest will have the opportunity to actively participate in the food preparation, as this is a crucial part of mindful self-care. **I can be flexible with dates so please ask me directly if a date is not listed on the calendar**
