First, I will meet you at a beautiful beach either for sunrise or sunset and we will start be discussing previous yogic experiences, injuries and physical limitations. Traditional Hatha sequencing includes an initial relaxation followed by Pranayama (breathing techniques), a full body warm-up, a few rounds of Sun Salutations leading to a structured sequence of standing and sitting postures, back bends & spinal twists, balancing and strengthening poses, finally leading to a mellow cool-down which includes a final meditation & breath work before the blissful Savasana. I will then offer a delicious raw treat and will look forward to a final discussion. Class sequences vary from day to day and vary in accordance to the energy levels, expectations and experiences of the students. I adapt all my classes as I go. I will give hands on adjustments and body to body alignment and corrections (with the students permission, when appropriate). Students will learn to safely go deeper into postures according to their bodily capacities.
After nearly2 years studying, travelling and practicing traditional Hatha Yoga in South India in various Ashrams, I am back in beautiful Byron Bay, which I love to call home, to share the Love and have a play! A little about me; I have been practicing Yoga for over 7 years, mainly Bikram, Hatha and Flow all the while focusing on mindful breathing, conscious movement and stillness in space. I hold a 200H YTT from Mathatithu Yoga Ashram,an 800H teacher training (Cert4) from the Byron Yoga Center. I’ve done a few intensives in various Indian Ashrams and am currently completing a Cert3 in fitness. Traditional Hatha focuses on proper form, proper breathing and relaxation. There is a form of self respect and self appreciation found in Hatha that I would LOVE to share with you, what better place than the beach to do so?!

I am happy to meet you anywhere, but these are my favourite; Sunrise session take place from 7-9 either in Suffolk Park, meeting corner Jarman and Alcorn or on Belongil Beach, meeting at the Treehouse. Sunset sessions are held at Clarkes Beach, with stunning views of Julian Rocks, Main Beach and The Pass. The meeting point is Clarkes Beach Cafe. I can easily adapt and modify, simply ask!!
My activity can cater to most your needs, please express your concerns/needs/feelings/expectations and I will adapt. Yoga is all about learning to be flexible :)
