NOTICE: The flight can happen from 9-17h, please give me your specific availability once you've done your booking by selecting one of the time frame shown on Airbnb. UP, UP and AWAY! This is your chance to experience the fun of flying PRIVATELY. Yes, that’s right. No shuffling from queue to queue, no delays, no screaming of children, or huge airports. This is the real deal. Your very own private pilot, who just wants to share the magic of flight. Your pilot is key to this adventure. They are sharing the cost of the outings, not making a profit. They just love to fly and want you to understand their passion for aviation. So be sure to meet your pilot directly at the airfield which is specified in the "Must Read Summary email" as there's no airport inside of London but there are various airfields in the surrounding areas. The more flexible you are the better, so that even if the flight is cancelled due to bad weather, you can still reschedule with the pilot if it fits both of your planning. Step 1. Make sure to contact us once you’ve made your booking! Step 2. Meet your pilot and have a pre-flight safety check. The airports are normally reachable by public transport within 30 mins - 1 hour. Step 3. Up you go…in the air! Enjoy the magic of flying! (No Planes can fly over London due to regulation)
I'm a co-founder of Wingly, the flight sharing platform which connects private pilots with passengers. I've been passionate about aviation since a very young age and started taking flying lessons at 12 years old to get my first pilot's licence at 15. I've now been flying for fun for over 15 years and started Wingly to make this extraordinary activity possible for more people. On Wingly, we have a large community of dedicated pilots and we connect you with them so you can share the cost and the experience of a private flight. Your flight will either be with me or one of our other amazing pilots
A custom route just for you can be discussed with the pilot. You'll first meet the pilot directly at the airport provided, which is not in central London. As there are multiple airports around London, I'm not pinning one specific airport, simply to avoid confusion. You'll be flying over surrounding areas of London and the south coast from above.
This is a non-commercial flight operated under EASA cost sharing rules. Each flight is insured through Wingly. Please note these flights don’t have the same safety rules as commercial air transport.
