We’ll road trip from Madagascar’s capital, Antananarivo, to the island’s west coast to visit Avenue of the Baobabs and Kirindy Reserve. Here we’ll see the sacred Baobab tree, which can reach 82 feet (25 meters) in height and 46 feet (14 meters) in diameter. Along the way, we’ll witness wildlife and amazing sunsets, learn about the country’s history, and visit quaint towns, bustling cities, and spectacular highlands. Madagascar boasts an abundance of animal and plant species, 90% of which cannot be found outside of the island.
