We’ll road trip from Madagascar’s capital, Antananarivo, to the island’s west coast to visit Avenue of the Baobabs and Kirindy Reserve. Here we’ll see the sacred Baobab tree, which can reach 82 feet (25 meters) in height and 46 feet (14 meters) in diameter. Along the way, we’ll witness wildlife and amazing sunsets, learn about the country’s history, and visit quaint towns, bustling cities, and spectacular highlands. Madagascar boasts an abundance of animal and plant species, 90% of which cannot be found outside of the island.
We'll start and end our trip in Madagascar's capital, the city of Antananarivo, know locally as Tana. We'll drive to Avenue of the Baobabs on Madagascar's west coast, stopping in towns along the way.
I have been living and guiding on the island for more than 30 years with the best teams in the business. I am an expert on Madagascar animals and wildlife tours, adventure tours, overland safaris, security and business regulations, vanilla, ecological surveys and research staging, and holidays for families in Madagascar! Leave it to me to show you the best of the island, from the best angles for the best values. The group I run is proud to be a Madagascar top employer 2016-2018 in work safety, healthcare; also a part of the Blue SAR (Search & Rescue) Network, and Blue Team MG.
