Seasonal food is a must in Rome, in the winter class, you’ll have the opportunity to learn how to peel artichokes to be cooked at the Jewish Style, one of the highlights of Roman cuisine. In the Summer’s class you’ll learn how to prepare zucchini flowers or any other amazing fresh vegetable to make the original “fritto romano”. At the end taste the amazingly baked ciambelline al vino, the famous crunchy donuts made with four simple ingredients.
I am a Roman foodie, food expert, blogger, and sommelier. After working in tourism for years, I founded Gourmetaly in 2013 to provide social food events that deeply connect people to local traditions. Chef Paola is the owner of the Restaurant where your class will take place, a nice six-generations roman lady crazy about food and cooking. She will host you in a special cozy place in the Jewish area of Rome, that was a private house 700 years ago.
