Join me for a traditional Provençal cooking class at my XVII century family farmhouse. We will meet at my house at 10am. I will introduce you to this family place and talk about the history of this Mas (old farm in Provençal language) and the history of the region. Together, we will then prepare a four course meal (started - main course - cheese - desert ) using seasonal and local ingredients. Some of them will come directly from our garden. During the class you will taste our Olive oil, homemade jams and of course local wines paired with the menu. Lunch will be prepared in my personal kitchen and will be served on a terrasse shaded by oaked trees overlooking our Olive trees. We will finish the class and lunch around 3pm. The farmhouse is located 45 mins from Aix en Provence and 50mins from Avignon, 45 mins from Saint Rémy de Provence, 10 minutes from the beautiful village of Lourmarin.
I was born in Paris and spent every summer at our family farmhouse in the heart of Provence. My grandfather bought this 17th-century farmhouse in the mid 1950s and since then my family has made olive oil. I studied Food and Consumer Management at Birmingham University and work as a sommelier in England. Then I moved to Piedmont, Italy, to earn a Master of Gastronomy at the Slow Food University in Pollenzo. Since coming back to Provence, I’ve been organizing authentic and unique culinary events all over the south of France—from Aix en Provence to Saint Rémy de Provence, Avignon, Marseille, Châteauneuf du Pape, and all the Rhône Valley—with the help of my mother and brother.

Built in the XVII c. by the Vaudois community in the Natural Park of the Luberon, the farmhouse was inhabited until the middle of the XVIII century. One century later at the begining of the 1950's my grandfather bought this farm which was left on its own for 100 years. He spent 20 years renewing the house, bringing water, electricity, a new roof... Then my mother took over and 70 year later this house is still part of our family.
