It's unique "cultural cooking class" for everyone! You'll learn how to make Sushi at home, and at the same time, get in touch with traditional Japanese culture in a friendly manner. "It smells good!" It's the first thing which guests say when they enter the kitchen. Yes, real Sushi smells good! Learn how to make 3 different styles of sushi, and enjoy Sake like kabuki audiences in the olden times. While dinner, I invite you to the backstages of kabuki by showing exclusive short films which I took. Get inspired by KABUKI! ◼︎Making home-made-Sushi is an entertainment! Because of the nature of traditional home made Sushi, the more the participants are, the more the Sushi gets tasty. The fun part is to make Sushi together, using a lot of ingredients. ◼︎Solo travelers and couples are welcome. I also recommend this to families, because it's fun! If you bring kids, I'll pay special attention to them.
I help local governments promote their culture throughout Japan and believe cooking and eating together is the best way to discover a community. Food is culture and culture is food, so to bring the two together, I created a recipe book, teach Japanese customs at schools, and host cooking classes in my home. Since I started hosting, more than 400 guests have come to my kitchen. My credo is “Every moment is for my guests” and I’m grateful to all the people who participate and are interested in learning more about my culture. I’ve welcomed guests from around the world, and oui, je parle le français!
