You can enjoy an experience among vineyards, breathing history through our wine museum and tasting our volcanic wines, unique in the world. I will guide you along the farm, the wineries, the wine museum, vineyards and winery. During the visit you can eat the seasonal fruits that you have along the way, taste firsthand what nature gives us, pick flowers etc. Our cultivation is ecological. It is an experience where you can feel our soil, the “picón” – lava stone (from the Bandama volcano), you can pick and smell to understand the organoleptic characteristics of our wines, which we will later taste with bread and cheese. In this experience you will learn how wine was made before (more than 100 years ago) and now. You can photograph the main courtyard of the Finca's house where a Spanish film was filmed with Jean Reno in 2018. (4 cans). To finish, after having enjoyed the wine and snacks, you will walk along a path where you can see animals such as donkeys, sheep, peacocks etc. It is a unique environment. It is enjoyed by adults and children.
I'm Cristina Millán. My passion for agriculture started since I was a child. From the age of 4 I am treading grapes in the winery of the farm. With 18 years I decided to study agricultural technical engineering at the University of La Laguna. When I finished I decided to do Agronomic Engineering. Then I specialized in several Masters in Viticulture, Enology and Business Management. I also did a master's degree in Occupational Risk Prevention. I have always been linked to the wine's world, and 2017 I took over the Finca El Mocanal. Bodega San Juan, being currently the manager. I am passionate about agriculture, the world of wine, history and winemaking heritage and I love sharing my passion with the visitors of our winery.
