Ideally arriving about half an hour before class starts to have time for a cup of tea, a look at the amazing property and a quick chat about how I can provide your ideal yoga class. We will then go through an hour long yoga class catered completely to your mood and body, can be a dynamic work out, a yummy restorative class or anything in between. They'll be 10 minutes left over at the end of class for 'savasana', the final resting pose of yoga where you will lay down and allow yourself to melt into the mat, allowing the body to absorb the energy you've just created in the body through our yoga practise. You have the option to take this time for yourself or I can assist you in the relaxation by massaging your head or burning some calming essential oils. After class there will be a bit more time to relax on the verandah and listen to the birds, take some photos on the yoga deck, have a swim in the pool or meet the herd of horses that live here.
I am a qualified Chef and Yoga Teacher living in Tyagarah (15mins North of Byron Bay). I completed my 500HR Purna YTT (yoga teacher training) through Byron Yoga Centre in 2017. Purna means complete, and Purna Yoga is a holistic approach to yoga integrating not just the physical postures but also philosophy, meditation, pranayama (breath control). The postural instruction is alignment focused and sequences range from gentle and restorative to dynamic.

Our yoga class will be taught at the beautiful Soul Sanctuary retreat space. If you are an air BnB guest staying on the property then I will come and teach you in the privacy of your cabin. Depending on the weather and your preference - we can practise inside, with a stunning view overlooking the ocean and the nature reserve, or outside on the grass amongst the trees.
