We meet up in old town Reykjavik by Ingólfur Square, at the two stone pillars to start our traditional Icelandic Food Adventure. Our first stop is an excellent Gastropub, where we will sample a small appetizer: Smoked puffin with crowberry liqueur sauce. Then we stroll down Austurstræti (East street) towards the oldest restaurant in Reykjavik, which will serve us Iceland in a bowl, the very traditional Icelandic sheep soup. From there, we will visit the fast-food institution in Iceland. The original hot dog stand where we will feast on the sheep hot dog that Icelanders are becoming famous for. Our next stop is the quirky and fun Seabaron down by the old Reykjavik harbor. That's where we sample the Icelandic lobster soup, a small piece of Minke whale steak and if you dare: a small piece of fermented shark. On we walk, and this time we stop to sample some fresh Icelandic cod, fish, and chips style. Our last but not least stop is for a yummy Skyr dessert and an Icelandic drink of choice.

You are also in safe hands with us as we are official tour guides and members of the Icelandic Tourist Guide Association which is granted only to those who have passed a comprehensive one-year training program, approved by the Icelandic Ministry of Education.
We will provide all the food and water with everything. At our final stop, you can choose between an Icelandic drink of…
