We'll meet at Lights beach and begin with some fun activities to get to know everyone. We'll then run a set 13km course through meandering coastal country, peppermint groves and along the beach to discover our amazing south coast. Much more than a run, you'll learn about Denmark's history, flora and geology and discover the stories of our wild and woolly coastline. We'll also share with you one or two hidden spots so you can begin to feel like a local! We'll conclude the tour with a cuppa and a muffin overlooking our stunning coastline. Bring your bathers too if the weather's warm!
Meet Rosie, Dirty Feet Tours lead guide! She’s a proud Denmark resident and Mum of two boys, and she is very passionate about connecting with this unique slice of paradise on the south coast of Western Australia. Already a mad keen bushwalker, environmental educator and experienced road runner, Rosie soon fell in love with the beauty and challenge of south coast trails and hasn’t looked back since! She’s competed in trail events up to marathon distance throughout the south west region. Rosie has had a diverse career as a environmental scientist, outdoor guide and educator, and originally trained as an Ecologist and has a Cert IV In Ecotourism (Guiding). She's really into local flora, geology, first contact history and the stories of our incredibly beautiful, wild and woolly, biodiverse corner of WA and its thriving communities.

We'll kick off at Lights beach, my favourite! We head westwards through the coastal bush towards Greens Pool, and I'd love to show you some gorgeous hidden spots along the way that I visit regularly. We'll head off track to bag some amazing views, duck into Greens for a swim and then head back along a different route. We can do a different version of this run, depending on weather and group ability. Tea and homemade muffins are our reward after!
