This six-hour escape is designed for the animal-lovers. Our adventure begins at 9:45 am at a meeting spot in historic downtown Sonoma Valley. You will board our Mercedes Sprinter Van or VW Atlas, depending on group size, and set off through the rolling green countryside toward a local farm animal sanctuary. Here, you'll get a guided tour of the farm and will meet rescued goats, cows, horses, chickens, pigs and more. After getting to know the animals, we will head to two local vegan wineries. At the first winery, we will sit down to a gourmet box-lunch (two options will be available) and wine tasting in the garden. The second winery will include a wine & chocolate pairing. Our tour ends back in Sonoma Valley near the Plaza at approximately 4:00. The tour can accommodate up to 7 guests.
Hello from the beautiful Wine Country! We are Marc and Michelle, a husband and wife team with a vegan wine tour company that started over a glass of (vegan) wine. We have lived in Sonoma Valley for over ten years and Sonoma County for over 20. Our team at La Belle Vie Tours loves to share the local secrets and what we love about wine country with our guests. Since 2018, we’ve been vegan and wanted to show that wine country can be just as fun without all the animal products. We take guests on guided wine tours through Sonoma and Napa Valley with the first stop at a local farm sanctuary where we know the animals intimately as we have been volunteers here for over a year and a half. You’ll then continue to two of our favorite vegan-friendly wineries with lunch included. We hope you will join us on an amazing day.
The van will be filled with ice water to enjoy throughout the day.
We will begin our day at Charlie's Acres Farm Sanctuary for an hour tour of the farm and to meet the over 120 animals living there. Charlie’s Acres is a 32-acre sanctuary in the heart of California's wine country, dedicated to the care of rescued farm animals. After the tour, our journey will continue to two wineries offering vegan-friendly wines. We will enjoy lunch in the garden at our first winery in the Carneros Region of Napa.
Please wear closed toes shoes and pants for the sanctuary tour. Bring your camera and a refillable water bottle if possible. We will also have cold water in our vehicle.
