We will discover more about Oradea's history by visiting the Fortress. After that, as we walk through the streets, we will learn about the differences between Art Nouveau and Secession architectural styles, while we will have the chance to admire impressive buildings, such as the following palaces: Black Eagle, Moskovits Adolf and Sons, Moskovits Miksa, Stern, Poynar and many more. Of course, we will discover their interesting stories, related to Oradea's popular personalities of the past centuries. We will also find more about the Jewish community in Oradea and their role in what concernes architecture and industry. Last, but not least, we will have the opportunity to observe the significant contrast between the beautiful New Core and the scars of the communist regime, which, in spite of their efforts, cannot steal the city's charm. After the tour, we will have a delicious traditional luch (or dinner), while we will find out more about the local cuisine.
