Ciao!!! We will introduce each other and drink a glass of wine so as to brake the ice. In the meantime you will be given a white apron and be assigned to a working station. Let's start!!! First of all you will make the original Bolognese sauce and the Besciamella (the whithe sauce needed to prepare Lasagne) following original Italian recipe. You will peel and chop the vegetables, season the mince meat, prepare the tomato sauce, mix flour, butter, milk for the Besciamella and cook all of it under the Chef instructions. While the sauce is simmering in the the frying-pan you will start "getting dirty" and make the dough with flours and eggs. Once the pasta is ready we will stretch and cut it so as to create our Lasagne (sheets of pasta). When Bolognese sauce, Besciamella and pasta are ready we will start creating our Lasagna layer by layer and we will cook it. At the end we will sit together and eat our delicious Lasagna. Along the experience you will be offered unlimited wine and drinks so that you won't be thirsty. At the end of the course you will receive a file containing all the instructions to prepare Lasagne back home with family and friends.
I am Francesco the founder of Pinsa, a company that specializes in baked products like pizza, panzerotti, focaccie and more. Along my career I have opened many Italian restaurants and pizzeria in different countries: Italy, Austria, China, Hungary, England and Cuba. I have taught Italian Cooking to hundreds of people and I really know how to get the best out of you. Imagine that during my university time in London I was making fresh-pasta in my house and selling it to restaurants so as to pay my tuition fees and living costs. My pasta was really appreciated as I was using the traditional recipes Italian grandmothers follow. Today I have mixed my passion for Italian cooking with my entrepreneurial attitude and I have opened Italian Food Lab, a professional Italian cooking school in the heart of Padova.
Guests will eat the Lasagne they personally made. Additionally along the experience some appetizers will be served.
We will give the guests water, drinks, beer and wine along our course and during the meal.
