Local foods (fruit smoothies, empanadillas, grandmas cooking on take out trays.) We arrive at a secure parking area next to the river on private property. This Hiking experience is ideal for thrill-seekers, experienced adventure hikers, and nature lovers for trekking the backwoods of El Yunque Rainforest! A safety briefing is conducted and we scramble 45 minutes upstream in contact with water much of the time for an adventurous river bed hike! You will reach a natural springwater swimming pool with scenic waterfalls, a natural playground frequented by locals. We continue alongside cascades to a 2nd deep Swimming hole with 2 large waterfalls and amazing natural features that resemble a waterpark where locals show off how much fun can be had.
