From ingredients to aprons, everything is prepared to last for over three hours. We focus on gastronomy, food, techniques and cooking times in a relaxed informal way, always striving for fun with a good glass of wine. After cooking, the big prize: we get to taste every dish that was made, share opinions and ideas over a big table. A special and unique way of going out to eat.
I'm Emelis Sierra a certified chef graduated from the PIVA institute in Belgium were I lived for over 13 years. Nowadays, I'm the chef of my own restaurant: SOLAR Bar&Food, where I founded EMEkitchen, a playful and motivating way of teaching cooking classes. I cook for real people in real situations, trying to show the world my passion for cooking Colombian and international foods, with a touch of creativity. I'm full of joy, sociable, fun and I love interacting with other people. As a constant user and host of Airbnb with my husband Tom by my side, it becomes easy for us to spot what kind of experiences the people want.
