Surrounded by nature, our activity begins in the Corobici river, Originating from the southern slopes of the Tenorio Volcano in the Guanacaste Mountains, the river flows southerly, descending through tropical dry forest. Then we drive up to visit a private natural reserve where families of sloths decided to live. Frogs and many Kind of birds as well.. Bijagua Town is famous for traditional dishes, to enjoy our lunch...
This trip was everything and more! Our guide Claudio was very informative and in tune to what we were looking for. The float down the river was amazing! We saw all kinds of wildlife and really enjoyed talking with our river guide. The lunch after was delicious and very traditional CR fare. Next we drove to an area where we got to see sloths, monkeys, frogs and butterflies!!! As an added bonus we got to stop at a waterfall for a nice refreshing swim! I highly recommend you book a tour with Claudio. He can make it as personal as you want!
