We’ll meet in Center City Philadelphia where we can fine tune our agenda over coffee at my favorite spot. From there, let's roam historic, but lesser explored, Southwest Center City. The area in focus is the "Rit-Fit" neighborhood (aka Rittenhouse & Fitler Squares). With our cameras, we will capture unique vantage points of downtown, while being among the Civil War-era mansions of Delancey Place and Fitler Square. We will make our way to the beloved Schuylkill River Dog Park (weather permitting), to soak in some sunshine and try our hand at taking long-exposure images. Finally, let's conclude our photo voyage with a quick snack nearest your way home.
Quick bite at the end of our tour
Coffee or tea
Standard tripod for cameras and a 10 stop, 58mm neutral density filter
We’ll stop by either Ultimo Coffee Roasters or Rival Bros Coffee Bar to kick off our journey. Then make our way west of Rittenhouse Square and into Southwest Center City. We will make stops at Delancey Place and Fitler Square, the Schuylkill River Trail / dog park, and other conjoining neighborhoods. Finally, we can top-off our excursion at some place for a local bite.
