I am a practicing civil engineer that has designed and inspected bridges for over 25 years. I have worked on projects involving many of the major bridges and tunnels of NYC. I’ve climbed around, in and under some of NY’s most important structures as I’ve analyzed, rated and rehabilitated them. I have learned of the incredible human stories behind them; the fierce ambitions, triumphs, tragedies and quirks. I’ve also come to love the great art of the city; from the museums and galleries to the public squares and walls; from the classic and inspiring to the whimsical and fun. Great art that is often right next to the structures we’ll be seeing! In my journeys around the city I've found many hidden gems that few tourists ever see. Lovely little parks, atriums, public art & lobbies. I love New York City!! Let me share it with you!
We’ll walk around lower Manhattan.
