This is a treasure hunt for second-hand designer/vintage clothing at great prices in a quintessential London area steeped in British fashion history. It is a fun experience for groups of 3 - 5 friends. When one or two people book using the ‘Private Booking’ facility personal styling advice will also be included.
As we walk to some of my favourite charity shops, I’ll tell you how and where it all started in the 1950’s/60's with Mary Quant, right up to the present day.
We visit some of the top hidden charity stores in London. These are excellent shops selling second-hand designer clothes and some vintage clothing in mint condition at a fraction of the full-price cost, in aid of charitable causes. We’re talking Prada to Pucci, Louboutin to Chloe, and great British brands too such as Joseph, Paul Smith, Stella McCartney and Temperley.
Every experience varies in terms of what labels we might see on the day. It’s a fantastic fashion hunt to find that elusive piece of designer or vintage clothing at a great price, whilst helping charitable causes. With my fashion styling know-how I’ll help you find the bargains, and point out British and other International designers.
Other things to note
Minimum two people booking: if travelling alone contact me to check if there are other bookings on the day you've chosen. Bring water and an umbrella - English weather can be unpredictable!

We’ll get acquainted over a coffee at Pret a Manger - a quintessential British coffee shop chain. Then we’ll start our walk through the stuccoed landscape that is this area visiting great charity shops along the way. I'll take photos for you to Instagram from your charity shop finds!

Sarah is a truly lovely person, both warm and vibrant, it was an absolute pleasure to spend time with her. As for the shopping, it was a fabulous trip to places I’ve never been before, these aren’t just charity shops they are veritable Aladdin’s cave of gems. I have never seen, touched and, more importantly, been able to try on so many designer pieces. This was a gift for my friend who has been looking to update her wardrobe and she found some absolute treasure.

I thoroughly enjoyed our shopping trip. Sarah is knowledgeable on fashion and gave our group a brief history of how fashion originated in London - it was very interesting and most informative. Sarah took us to some wonderful little treasure troves which contained a variety of designer and high street brands. I have been back and bought some gorgeous stuff at unbeatable prices. Sarah was friendly, fun, personable and passionate about sustainable fashion. She took us to her 'private' vintage shops in London where we got some great finds - and at the same time learned about the London fashion scene from the 50's to present day. Great fun for all ages - I went along with my daughter and nieces. 17 to 50 yrs all had great fun!
