You will be met from the owner of Kartel Scotland upon arrival at our work shop in St Andrews for a warm welcome. Tea, Coffee, Whiskey, local beer, local wine is the order of the day along with fresh local fruit and Scottish tablet. We will tell you in the story of our brand and history of local watch manufacturing to help you get inspired to build your own creation. We will guide you through our range options of different case designs to find what best suites your style and needs. Once the watch case has been selected we then move on the the vast range of straps in Leather, Johnstone of Elgin wools and cashmere along with Harris Tweed options. Once the metal work has been selected (Buckles) your master watch maker (Dale) will guide you through the assembly of the components to create a finished watch. We then move on the further personalising with engraving. You will manage the engraving machine and watch your timepiece come to life. And there you have a unique watches designed and made by you.
I am the founder and owner of Kartel Scotland. I have been designing and manufacturing watches for over ten years and own a wonderful shop and work shop in St Andrews, Scotland where I assemble each watch we sell. I have a passion for everything Scottish including my West Highland Terrier called Betty ( who you will meet). Traveling the world and my two young girls and wife is what makes me happy in life.
