Located in the heart of bluegrass state and horse capital of the world, Megson Farms specializes in the unique breeding and racing of white and multi-colored thoroughbreds. The Jockey Club has registered less then 250 white thoroughbreds since it was established in 1894 and today there are very few pure white thoroughbreds in existence! You will learn how a breeding farm operates, including a tour of the breeding shed. You will see our extensive herd of white mares, foals and yearlings. You may even come across guest speakers that are in involved in the thoroughbred industry, such as a groom, exercise rider, jockey, farrier, or vet or a Q&A with an experienced thoroughbred racehorse trainer. The experience allows you see into a working Kentucky Thoroughbred breeding farm and the preparation of training to make a racehorse. We look forward to sharing our breeding and racing journey with you! NEW*** For a deeper experience in Thoroughbred racing tour message me for details!
