Starting from the beautiful South Bank Parklands, you will ride the two most popular cycling loops in Brisbane - Mt Coot-tha and The Riverloop. There is good climbing and great views over the city from the Mt Coot-tha Lookout. Then a relatively flat cruise around the river taking in the Goodwill Bridge, the Kurilpa Bridge, the B R I S B A N E Sign, the Wheel of Brisbane and Streets Beach. The safety and enjoyment of the guests are paramount to VeloGuide. We will always regroup and if we have larger groups, we will add additional VeloGuides so that each guest can get the most out of the ride. We will have up to 2 hours of riding time.
My name is Jillian, one of the co-founders of VeloGuide which was launched in October 2017 as a bold new initiative to connect the traveling cyclist with a bike and a guide all across the globe. I will be your virtual host and Warren will be your VeloGuide in Brisbane. Cycling in Brisbane is a great way to discover its beautiful Parklands, curving river views and experience its unique culture. We understand that when visiting a big city, getting out on a road bike ride can be overwhelming. Traffic, safe routes, fear of getting lost and finding a bike can make the idea a non-starter.
